A recycled art competition for South West kids!
Do you like getting crafty?
Are you passionate about recycling?
Would you like to win some AMAZING prizes?
Our Waste Education program has been lucky to receive funding through the Australian Government’s Building Better Regions fund to hold a recycled art competition during the 17/18 summer school holidays and Term 1 2018. The competition is for primary school and high school aged children living within the six Council areas of Bunbury, Harvey, Capel, Collie, Dardanup and Donnybrook-Balingup. There are prize categories for individuals and groups and the competition will culminate with an exhibition at the Stirling Street Art Centre in May.
$$$ $$$ THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF PRIZES UP FOR GRABS $$$ $$$
As part of the project, we will be hosting a workshop in each of the Council areas. There will be recycled materials on hand for kids to create their art with or they are welcome to bring their own materials along. We may also sneak in a little presentation about waste and the impact on the environment.
