Request for Tender – Used Bulldozer

Request for Tender: Supply and Delivery of Track Type Tractor (Bulldozer) – Tender No: RFT1617-0003

The Bunbury-Harvey Regional Council is currently seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers to supply and deliver of one (1) Used Track Type Tractor (Bulldozer) for the Stanley Road Waste Management Facility in Wellesley (Australind).

Tender responses may be lodged by hand to the Bunbury-Harvey Regional Council Administration Office, Old Railway Station Complex (Next to the City of Bunbury Visitor Centre), Lot 5 Carmody Place, Bunbury WA 6230, and must be lodged in time to allow delivery to the tender box by the allotted time or email submission to mpieterse@bunbury.wa.gov.au

Tenders close at: 4:00pm Wednesday 15 March 2017.

2017 WastED Survey

The South West are community leaders in recycling and waste recovery. Many of our Councils, such as Bunbury and Capel have already exceeded the Waste Authority’s 2020 targets for waste diversion from landfill. Waste Education Coordinator

Fixed Term – Part time, 64 hours per fortnight (eight day fortnight)
Three and half (3.5) year term contract

Do you have an enthusiasm for community engagement and sustainability education? We are looking for an experienced individual to develop and implement and manage waste education and community engagement programs across the Greater Bunbury Region. The position will have you working closely with schools, local government officers, waste industry stakeholders, community groups, and the general public on raising awareness about issues such as waste minimisation, recycling, graffiti and litter prevention.  Key responsibilities will include project planning and management, applying for grants, supervision of waste education officer(s) and reporting to project stakeholders.

You will have proven self-management skills, experience in implementation of community behaviour change programs and a demonstrated understanding of the principles of adult learning and community development. A passion and understanding of contemporary waste management and sustainability issues and sound knowledge of the WA school curriculum will be highly regarded.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Bunbury-Harvey Regional Council Employees 2016 Enterprise Agreement and the Local Government Industry Award 2010, with a Level 8.1 salary of $66,885 gross per annum and up to 9.5% superannuation. The Bunbury-Harvey Regional Council is currently seeking tenders for the purchase of Bomag BC772EB Landfill Compactor with approximately 13,720 hours located at the Stanley Road Waste Management Facility in Australind (Wellesley).
